PUBLIC SPEAKING DESCRIPTION:
In this day and age of technology crucial skills like eye contact, clear communication and confident presentation skills will quickly make your child stand out above the rest. These are essential skills to be used when interviewing for a job, chatting with adults, influencing peers or even talking to the police.


In this 1 hour Public Speaking class your child will write and give a minimum of 6 speeches.

Each class is aimed to build their self-esteem by teaching them how to:

  • Control their voice, vocabulary and gestures
  • Evaluate and give constructive feedback to fellow students
  • Present themselves with confidence in spite of their nervousness or age

Not only have I founded the Women’s Empowerment Toastmasters Club, but I have also built a 19 year career as a professional speaker. It is my pleasure to teach our children to stand and present themselves with confidence (even if they are nervous) to the world.

$175 per semester (2 semesters) or 4 – $44 a month each a semester. (total of 8 months for both semester). Per student

Teisha Shelby-Houston started her homeschooling journey back in 1998 when her oldest qas 5. Today he and his brother have both graduated from college with honors;  the third son is currently in college, the fourth son just started his sophomore year in high school and the fifth child, a girl, is a freshman at the same charter high school.She schooled her five children while running a business as a Corporate Trainer and a Business Coach for executives and mompreneurs. This allowed her to teach her children about  entrepreneurship, geography, leadership and public speaking as they were able to travel with her for an Active Curriculum.
