As I embarked on the subject matter of Racist Homeschooling I NEVER imagined the reactions that would come from it.
Some cheered me on. Positive comments from those all over the world.
Yet others….not so much. The words of anger, meanness and right down superiority have radiated throughout. 🙁
I knew some reaction would come but just wasn’t sure what it would be.
In honesty, I try to be sensitive to what I feel my Lord would have me speak on and in the way in which I do so.
My greatest prayer is that in my honesty, sharing the truth as I live it and reality that is in our homeschool society, I’ve honored the will of the Lord in this.
Lord and racism. How can these oxymorons be in the same sentence? Great question.
That just let’s you know how ugly one word is (racism) and how the other so beautiful (Lord).
However, this is the ugly we live in day in and day out even within homeschooling!
However…again, it will not be dealt with if never ever spoken about.
The video is not to make fun of the subject. But it’s to show the weirdness that often comes with not realizing that we all are HUMANS who homeschool!
There shouldn’t be anything uniquely different about this communication and connecting among different races.
But in my homeschooling world and many other’s homeschooling world….. the connecting is something left to be desired.
