Frequently I have parents ask me about their school day.
“How long should MY homeschool day be?”
“I think I’m schooling to much.”
“I school for five hours with my kindergartner.”
“My days drag on. It’s just not fun.”
Well, how long your homeschool day should last will depend on a few things.
I’ve narrowed the ‘school day time’ down to THREE considerations:
- Grade level of your student
- Academic level of your student
- YOU! How long can you mentally handle teaching?
