It’s Time for a Break

I don’t know about you guys, but I am tired. This has been a year of all types of strange ups and downs. I am truly spent. I’m so thankful that we have been able to endure this far. I’m also grateful to meet many milestones and goals.

Now I want a break! I need a break. I think we all do. I know most are going back to work or are finding work. So, taking some time off may not be in your immediate future. However, we can all  find some ways (big or small) to relax.

The best relief you can get is breaking from social media, television, and other media platforms. Maybe you’re being super cautious and don’t want to go anywhere. So, enjoy nature, relax on the patio, or read a book.

A pedicure is in my near future. And I’ll soon be itching to go discount shopping for our new baby. (I never buy anything full price.) If you have time, travel. It can be somewhere close or far away. Just get away from the mundane, get out, and explore.

It doesn’t matter what it is, just do it! We’ve all suffered these last few months (some more than others), and we just need a break from it all. Sometimes the only way to move on is to take a little time to rest and rejuvenate before trying to move on with whatever life has for us next.

I’m most importantly a follower of Christ by who’s blood we believe there is salvation. We believe in biblical Truth only. Being led by the Spirit of God, we seek to raise our family by that Truth. I am a wife of 8 years, and mom to 8 wonderful children ages 7 years-1 year. We have been homeschooling for 2 years officially (7 if you include preschool). I enjoy music, gardening, and learning to live a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle.

Matthew 4:17 “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
