Where is your homeschooling heart?

where-your-heart-is-there-is-your-treasure-also-1

As followers of Christ Matthew 6:19-21 exhorts us well.

We often relate this scripture to having our heart long and greatly desire the things of the world, riches, money or the like.

However, our treasure can be whatever we choose to put our heart’s energy, focus and drive on. This can be something that is good or something that is of no benefit.

The homeschooling morning nugget for us this morning, today and throughout our hoomeschooling journey is to ‘Treasure the gift of homeschooling.’

As it IS a gift.

Matthew 6:19-21 NIV

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and wehre thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Treasure means to ‘keep carefully, cherish, dote over, prize, value greatly, love, be devoted to.”

Is this how you feel about your homeschooling?

If not, reposition your thoughts.

Reposition your heart.

Reevaluate your treasure.

Once you do then you will find a priceless loot of great value that will satisfy your until the end of your homeschooling jourey.
