When you receive a compliment as an Option 3 director (((heart)))

Today I received a compliment. (Thursday)

Yesterday I received a compliment. (Wednesday)

The day before that….another compliment. (Tuesday)

My week started with a compliment. (Monday)

These were not just any compliments. They were compliments from my personal members of my homeschool accountability association here in South Carolina.

Now before you think I am narcisistic…..Ha! I’m really am not. (I don’t think. Lol. :p

In truth, I’m grateful. Humbled. And feel appreciated.

I don’t crave the compliments. But they do make me feel good.

See…..

My purpose driven life is to make a positive impact on 1,000s of homeschoolers worldwide. I do that first my serving the homeschooling community here in South Carolina.

Being a director/administrator and owner of an Option 3 association has afforded me a close and personal opportunity to ‘make a positive impact.’

Today one of my members I spoke with by phone mentioned how she really appreciates my efforts of being reachable, touchable but yet allowing her freedom to homeschool without being ‘all in her business.’ Additionaly, she was grateful that I would help her along her homeschooling journey as it related to transcripts. The icing on the cake for her was that I was familiar with Classical Conversations Challenge program and honor courses they have.

Yesterday, there were three different compliments. A new Mom from PA being so grateful for clear guidance and getting her on her right footing for her three high school students and their transcripts.

Another Mom who was new to high school years and didn’t understand the correct way to choose her child’s course categories.

Yet, another who was so worried about homeschooling her elementary student that she needed to talk out this journey with someone.

Many texts. Lots of scheduled phone calls. And tons of emails.

My desire is to provide a connection with my families in such a way that they do feel I’m touchable, reachable and am rooting for their good along this homeschooling journey. A place where there is no power struggle over their freedoms in their homeschooling between them and myself.

In simplest form….I want to be and provide all that I didn’t have when I was just ‘a homeschool Mom’ a member of an association.

This coming 2018-2019 will prove to be the icing on the cake for my members. If they thought my services thus far were a blessing to you….. YOU ALL ARE ABOUT TO GET YOUR SOCKS BLESSED OFF OF YOU!!

Why? Why would I pour that much energy into folks that I don’t know?

Well, my mentor Earl Nightangale (I listen to him every single day…..’The Strangest Secret) says that the more you plant seeds the more you’ll going to receive back. You can’t desire something for nothing. Good seeds planted. Good harvest harvested.

My greatest desire to live on purpose and make an impact where I’m planted is always my drive.

I’m planted with you in this homeschooling ‘world.’ I want to live it to the fullest giving back in big and in small ways.

I’m TOTALLY okay that many may not be who I am called nor positioned to serve as an Option 3 director. My other co-directors in this community may be a better fit.

But for those I am to serve and assist in their homeschooling journey…..I’m delighted.

Delighted to be your association director and provide legal status for you to homeschool in South Carolina
