Teach Them This Tuesday: Never Give Up (video)

 

Human nature is an interesting thing.

I’ve never paid much attention to the *thinking* of people and their motives….  until recently.

Recently dealing with a few mind boggling things within my own homeschooling community. It left me shaking my head and asking the Lord for grace and understanding.

Never the less…..it didn’t damper me doing what I felt the Lord had called me to do.

Psychology and Sociology have been two subjects I *greatly* disliked in college. I passed them each with an A+ grade. But I despised the classes.

It is my conviction that only God knows the inner workings of the heart. The mind-set of people and why people do what they do.

It’s not be until the recent months since I’ve been introduced to Psychologist Amy Cuddy and Brené Brown that this subject of *understanding people* has sparked my interest to…….

Well, understanding people and why they do what they do.

Before these recently months….I just didn’t care.

I mean….grant it. I just chuck it up to the *sin-nature.* That’s why WE DO WHAT WE DO.

These psychologists have made me think…..there may be some actual *facts* that can be put to the actions to explain people.

(To explain me. I’ll put myself in the pot as well. I am human. Ha.)

I’m still not 100% certain this is the case. But I’m open.

For me personally I think is darn right horrible to have dream killers.

I think it’s down right hateful to have those who will try and make things difficult for you just because they are having issues in their lives, issues in their relationships ….ISSUES.

So much so that they desire to come and rain on your parade.

Why? Cause they just feel obliged to do so.

I would not know this to be true if I just didn’t live this. Uuggghhh!!!

The truth is….Our Kids need to know…..

THERE. WILL. ALWAYS. BE. THOSE. WHO. ARE. NOT. FOR. YOU. when you attempt to move forward and when you have a dream that must become a reality.
