Special Buddies
Special Buddies is a Special Needs track within the Academy that provides respite so that homeschooling families with normal learning children may participate in mainstream classes of the Academy and/or provide an atmosphere in which our *Special Buddies* can grow in community with others outside of their home even if they don’t have main stream siblings within the Academy.
Because we believe that *every* life can impact the Kingdom of God, we desire to be an extension of Jesus’ arms by providing a Special Needs community within the Academy called Special Buddies.
Special Buddies is under the loving guidance, care and directorship of Amy Henderson.

Eager STEAMERS
Eager STEAMERS is a track within the Academy for homeschool students that are high functioning but with some learning delays or may have some learning challenges.
Eager STEAMERS are for homeschool students who desire to excel but need some extra help to get them to their next level of achievement.
Eager STEAMERS may be able to handle mainstream classes within the Academy but will thrive in attending this *one session class* of the day to help them in the areas of language skills, putting things into categories, visual mapping and more within a fun learning environment.
Eager STEAMERS is under the loving guidance, care and instruction of Hicunni Chandler.

K-2nd Grades:

Wisdom Session #1: 9:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
*Display of HIS Creative Arts: Savory Culinary Arts
Wisdom Session #2: 10:25-11:15
*Tongue of the Learned: One-On-One Reading (reading remediation)
Wisdom Session #3: 11:55 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
*Tongue of the Learned: Creative Writing/Literature
*Display of HIS Creative Arts: Art/Art History
Wisdom Session #4: 12:50 p.m. – 1:40 p.m.
*God Revealed in Geography and World Cultures: World Geography
*All Children Can Learn: Eager STEAMERS
7th-12th Grade:
Minimum of two classes *must* be taken for 7th-12th graders. Study hall is available for remaining Wisdom Sessions where a class is not taken. Tuition is the same for one or four classes.
