Do you remember when you applied for membership with UCHU-AA and read about having to complete the 90 day/180 day attendance cards?
You don’t?
No worries!!!
I’ll explain…..
As a member of UCHU-AA I have in place 90 day/180 day attendance cards.
This means that once you have reached 90 days or 180 days in your schooling year you’d return to the website at:
www.UCHUnlimited.com >>> go to ‘Member Forms’ >>>> choose 90/180 Day attendance cards.
Or click here: UCHU-AA 90 day/180 day Attendance card <<<click on the link
Under the Option 3 law it states:
a semiannual progress report including attendance records and individualized documentation of the student’s academic progress in each of the basic instructional areas specified in item
While the law doesn’t specifically say ’90 day/180 day attendance card’ my efforts is to have record of when you’ve reached these AMAZING milestones of your homeschooling and then complete your required progress report. IF ever audited to honoring the 180 day attendance law I can vouch for you with your completed attendance cards. 🙂
***NOTE: If you have pulled your student out of public school mid year to then homeschool them the accumulated attendance in public school DOES GO TOWARDS your required 180 days of homeschooling. Yay!!!
Oh….something else!!!!
The law indicates ‘semi-annual’ progress report, right?
Right.
Completing them at the half-way point of your schooling year and at the end of the year is an easy practice to follow.
So…..UCHU-AA members scoot on over and complete your 90 day or 180 day attendance card. Then go ahead and complete your progress report.
File away your progress report FOR YOUR RECORD!! 🙂
I do have a sample progress report to follow for your desired assistance. 🙂
You can find a sample to follow here: Progress Report example 🙂
