Lapbook is a pretty cool and creative tool to reinforce learning.
It’s a book that is a collection of pictures, information etc. that fits perfectly on a child’s lap.
A lapbook can be a project book or file folder.
Lapbooks are a wonderful hands-on homeschooling tool much like scrapbooking but it’s educational.
The student can go back and read through it to remember a focused subject matter.
You can create lapbooks on about anything. Your possibilities are endless. 🙂
Students on all grade levels can glean from this type of learning.
If you are a hands-on-teacher and like crafts……then LAPBOOKING probably will be for you.
Me, on the other hand, am not a hands-on-crafty type of mom so we never implemented this into our schooling. I did try but it about took me over the edge. 🙂 But I think it’s a GREAT idea. 🙂
