UCHU-AA’s South Carolina Palmetto Fellows Scholarship candidate for 2018-2019 homeschool year is……

For any South Carolina homeschooling parent the coveted state scholarship that will issue mega bucks towards attending a South Carolina university is something we know so well.

United Community of Homeschoolers Unlimited has provided class rankings for the past FOUR YEARS so that our homeschool students may take advantage of this state scholarship alongside high school public school students.

If class ranking wasn’t provided with UCHU-AA NOR if transcripts were not completed by UCHU-AA the student members of UCHU-AA would not be able to even be qualified for this specific state scholarship.

For the past FOUR YEARS homeschool students of UCHU-AA have qualfied for early consideration based on their gpa, ACT/SAT scores and class ranking.  Or qualified their 12th grade year!!

I am SUPER PROUD of these students who have gone on to study at Clemson University, Anderson University, The Citadel and now this year college choice is still to be considered.

Last year (2017-2018) TWO STUDENTS from UCHU-AA….sisters, both qualfied for Palmetto Fellows state scholarship and are doing well in their college studies.

This is a total of five students in four years to receive PF.

Qualified students to apply for this scholarship must meet state requirements. Those requirements can be met early based on their 10th, 11th grade years of homeschool. Or the homeschool student may qualify for late entry and consideration during their 12th grade year.

Just what requirements must the homeschool student meet to be eligible and what will they receive if they are found eligible for the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship you ask??

Congratulations to……

Joshua Mosely for being an early candidate for South Carolina’s Palmetto Fellows Scholarship for 2018-2019 with UCHU-AA. He has qualified based on his 11th grade gpa, ACT scores and 11th grade ranking!

IF the last name sounds familiar……Joshua’s older brother Caleb received the Palmetto Fellows just two years ago and is now studying at the Citadel in SC.

Way to go JOSHUA!!!!! And way to go parents, Rob and Robin Moseley!

While Joshua’s college plans are not yet clear (he has been accepted into 3 or 4 colleges thus far) his decision will be made soon!
