God WILL DO the miraculous amidst GRATITUDE!

UCHU We have SO MUCH to be THANKFUL FOR!!
I’m sure many many of you have had a challenging year.
Difficult things of life.
Disappointments that you had no desire for.
Set backs.
Illness.
Financial struggles.
And the list goes on and on.
Trust me I KNOW!! This year, for my family, has been a BIG walk of faith. No walk in the park….at all. Everyday I HAD TO….I HAD TO start the day off with gratitude or my heart might just have become overwhelmed.
Side note: Ok….overwhelming has come….but it didn’t take residence.
With that in mind, I would like to challenge you towards GRATITUDE! Today and everyday!
Last night my family and I had our family worship together after our dinner. We are studying through Jonah. A story that we’ve read many many time. But I promise you last night….the 2nd chapter of Jonah was RHEMA to me a new.
In Jonah’s distress he said he called out to the Lord and He (the Lord) answered him.
Jonah felt his life was ebbing away. He described what was happening to him and what he was experiencing.
But then he remembered the Lord. (Heart of gratitude came).
He lifted a prayer up to the Lord.
He lifted SHOUTS of grateful praise to the Lord.
THEN…..THE LORD COMMANDED THE FISH TO VOMIT JONAH OUT!!
I know. I know. Jonah is one of the those stories of Scripture that make you scratch your head a bit. You should have heard our discussion of what it must have been like to be in the belly of the fish.
How big was the big fish’s belly?
Was the big fish heaving the entire THREE days trying to vomit up this guy but he just wasn’t coming out.
How dark just was it in that belly?
Was is a stinking pit of stomach bile?
Oh….the questions!!
Hmmmmm…..Gratitude in the mist of distress brings forth results that only a BIG God is BIG ENOUGH to handle!!
I’ve learned and am learning that God can do the miraculous amidst a heart of gratitude.
Give shouts of GRATITUDE TODAY and everyday!!
Just see what happens!!
From my family to yours…HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
