Two by Two Petting Zoo Field Trip

Are you looking for a fun social distance family friendly activity?

Are you teaching a lesson about farm animals and looking for an interactive experience?

I highly recommend Two by Two Petting Zoo at Why Not an American Ark located in Monroe, North Carolina. My family had an opportunity to visit Two by Two Petting Zoo, and we had an amazing time.

My family purchased the ticket on Groupon, and it includes a guided walking tour for only $32, and we paid for a bucket of food once we arrived to feed the animals. The bucket of food cost $8.00. It was a really big bucket too. In my

opinion, the bucket of food was worth the money.

When you visit, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a little walking involved.

Besides walking, the petting zoo has several animals roaming around to pet throughout the zoo. For example, my family had an opportunity to pet a female donkey who was standing outside of her pen.

What kind of animals can be seen at Two by Two Petting Zoo?

It is home to a variety of animals: dogs, goats, zebras, camels, rabbits, chickens, donkey, emus, bobcat, pigeons, and many more.

Also, we did the guided walking tour too. The guide gave us instructions on what animals that we could feed and could not feed because some animals would bite.

Be aware, there are three camels, and they will steal the bucket of food if you allow them to eat from the bucket.

I can continue to talk about the animals and the fun we had at Two by Two Petting Zoo, but I recommend experiencing it in person.

Once again, I highly recommend Two by Two Petting Zoo as either a homeschool field trip or a family day.

Happy Homeschooling!!!

Have a great day!!!!
