Buttttttt…….. that doesn’t mean UCHU-AA (United Community of Homeschoolers Unlimited – Accountability Association) does not have open membership throughout the year.
Current members of UCHU-AA will want to re-register anytime they desire.
Be sure, however, that you re-register BEFORE you actually begin homeschooling in your new homeschooling year.
Current members, your legal status of homeschooling with UCHU-AA ends July 31. So if you were not going to begin your new homeschooling year until September 2019 THEN BE SURE TO RE-REGISTER BEFORE you begin!
Else you would be homeschooling illegally and could face truancy charges.
If you are new to UCHU-AA and are ready to become a member in order to have legal homeschooling status and it happens to be in December. …….No worries.
Just register BEFORE you began homeschooling in order to honor the law and not find yourself an illegal homeschooler.
As the home educator you have the freedom to decide when your homeschooling year begins.
Whenever that is just be sure to register with UCHU-AA.
The goal is to honor the Option 3 law and reach 180 days in your homeschooling year.
To learn more of what that looks like…..join me in the Member’s Only section for details on this subject.
Until then…….HAVE A HAPPY AND FUN HOMESCHOOLING YEAR!!!
