When you are on your homeschooling journey there IS NOTHING like continual encouragement!

Get ready!!

UCHU is WELCOMING TWO amazing guest bloggers to share their creativeness.

These two bloggers are members of UCHU-AA and have been for years. They are dear hearted women and LOVE writing/blogging.

Here there are….. (DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!)

Greetings,

My name is Joy and I am currently a stay at home mom who is home schooling my three kids in South Carolina. I love learning and I love sharing the love of learning with others so getting to home school my kids and watch the “ah ha” moments when they understand something is unbelievably rewarding. I have been homeschooling since my twins were preschool age so we are going on 8 years now. I am also a military spouse so we have the added joy of being a military family with some of the complications that come with it.  As a family we stay busy with our scouting groups, American Heritage Girls and TrailLife, and we do many camping and hiking trips with them. When I have down time, I am typically reading books I have sitting around the house, on YouTube/websites getting more information on different home school programs or working on plans for homeschool. I look forward to being able to share our experiences with everyone and help encourage all homeschooling families.

Hi, I’m Naja. I’m most importantly a follower of Christ by who’s blood we believe there is salvation. We believe in biblical Truth only. Being led by the Spirit of God, we seek to raise our family by that Truth. I am a wife of 7 years to a wonderful man of God and minister of music. We were fortunate enough to be blessed with a quiverful. We have EIGHT wonderful children ranging in age from 6 years old to 6 months. Our family is not only unique because of our numbers. We also have 3 sets of twins. We have been homeschooling since our first child was born 6 years ago. However, this is our second year homeschooling through an association. I’m a Southern girl with homesteading dreams. I’m a gardening enthusiast with little experience. I like to say “I’m learning as I grow.” I’m also new on the pescatarian scene and hope to move beyond to a more healthy lifestyle. I have grown to be more natural-minded, and I am constantly finding ways to create a non-toxic household for me and my family.

Both Joy and Naja will be featured on The Homeschool Upstart Podcast sharing their weekly blogs and chatting it up with me from time to time.

Joy’s blogs will post weekly on Wednesdays on http://www.UCHUnlimited.com and on The Homeschool Upstart Podcast.

Naja’s blogs will post weekly on Sundays on http://www.UCHUnlimited.com and on The Homeschool Upstart Podcast.

  1. Hi Sweetest Angela!!

Thank you friend for all the encouragement and ALL the valuable advice, encouragement, and love you’ve given me over the past 7 years.

I am going to unsubscribe from emails. But I couldn’t  without personally thanking you!! Lots of days I was nearly overwhelmed, but your sweet emails, fb posts and texts saved my life!

Since mine are graduated and college bound in 2 weeks, I guess it’s time for me to sail off happily, into the sunrise…..notice I said sunrise, not sunset. The sun hasn’t set on us. No! It’s the beginning of a new season! I have 2 partime jobs and will be working about 30 to 35 hours per week.

Rick will probably be at Wofford for another 4 to 6 years. Plenty of time!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Much much love. Even more gratitude!!
