It’s one thing to be diligent in keeping your children focused and on task.
But sometimes…just sometimes……
Homeschooling parents have a hard time staying focused and on task as well.
I’ve struggled with that too.
(Shhhh….sometimes it’s a struggle even now.)
I’m constantly having to set some boundaries for my homeschooling day.
There’s just so much that is vying for my attention.
These ‘seemingly’ important things just don’t understand that ‘Homeschooling Is In Progress’ so back off.
Back off from trying to steal and rob my attention.
The truth is that there are clear BOUNDARIES that we need to set – that we MUST set to ward off these robbers and thieves of our homeschooing day that’s in progress.
Check the list below and check it twice.
It will let you know if you are notty or nice.
If you indeed allow these things 10 ‘thieves’ to rob you of your homescholing day that’s in progress then set the boundaries for these homeschooling thieves.
Look for that list tomorrow! (‘Thieves’ that robs your homeschooling – Setting Boundaires'(Part 2)
1. Facebook/Live video taping/social media
5. the friend that must come over to chat
7. business work
10. reading blog posts
Oh…this list is by no means exhaustive. There are really about 10 more things to add to this list. But these generally are the main culprits.
So what is a homeschooling parent to do that’s being robbed blind?
Check in tomorrow to find out what you need to do to set some boundaries and what those boundaries should be.
